grupo de trabajo comunidades saludables

In Spring 2026, students from Cal Poly’s Landscape Architecture 403 class worked alongside San Miguel Community Friends and Lillian Larsen Elementary to analyze San Miguel’s park, business, and pedestrian spaces. They analyzed how these spaces serve residents today and the thoughtful designs that can help shape the community's future. Their concepts included pedestrian improvements, green space connections, and play areas. They also considered usability by residents of all ages, with connections to the existing library, senior center, and current park space.
